More Info
Power Widgets lets you build entirely custom widgets. It uses Flows to collect data to display on the widget, and Data Sources to access information from the web. Flows work a lot like Siri Shortcuts. You can learn more about Flows and Data Sources in the User Guide.
Widget Designer
A simple drag & drop widget designer makes it easy to create entirely custom design. The layout system ensures your widget looks great on all device sizes. There is a wide variety of elements to add, and tons of effects to apply on top of them. Learn more about the widget designer in the User Guide.
Setups & Packs
The app provides pre-made setups that make creating an amazing HomeScreen super simple.
Wallpaper-Matched Backgrounds
Setup a Wallpaper-Matched Background for a transparent or blurred widget. The blur can be light or dark, and matches the system Battery widget well.
Sharing
The iMessage app makes sharing super easy, and shows a preview of the widget you shared. Tap on the widget message to import it in the app.
If you want to share via another method, you can easily share the .powerwidget
file as well.
Power Widgets Pro
The app allows 2 free widgets, then the user must upgrade to Pro from $2.99. There are optional higher pricing points at $4.99 and $9.99. All pricing points receive the same features. Pro gives you unlimited widgets and custom app icons (my favorite is Neon Sign), with more pro features to come.
Development
The app is developed by Carson Katri in SwiftUI (with a bit of UIKit sprinkled throughout).
